FIRA B STARTS! OF MUSIC WITH 56 CONCERTS OF ALL MUSICAL GENRES

The inaugural parliaments will be at the Aljub d'Es Baluard at 8:00 p.m.

 

Thursday, October 2nd, begins Fair B! music that, from November 2 to 4, has scheduled a total of 56 free musical performances for all audiences in Palma. The opening speeches will be at 8:00 p.m. in the Aljub of the Es Baluard Museum. The director of the Institute of Balearic Studies, Llorenç Perelló, is scheduled to speak.

The venues for the performances will be the Aljub d'Es Baluard, the Mar i Terra Theater and Ses Voltes, thanks to the collaboration with Palma City Council and Es Baluard Museum of Contemporary Art.
 

On November 2 and 3, it will be the turn of jazz, indie singer-songwriters, rap, urban and pop music. And November 4th, that of roots music, classical music, rock and electronic music.
The Professional Days will have the presence of musical supervisors who have participated in successful series and films such as Stranger Things, Élite, Marvelous Mrs Maisel or Jojo Rabit. The activities aimed at the professional sector aim to be a meeting and training space for professional artists in order to promote the external promotion of the artists of the Balearic Islands, nationally and internationally.
 

The registration to the professional days of Fira B! of music is open and can be done through https://pro.firab.org/firab/en/info. They will be on the 2nd and 3rd at the Mar i Terra Theatre. On November 4, they will be open to the general public and will be held at Ca n'Oleo.
 

Most of the speakers are programmers of very prominent festivals and venues at the national and international level: Glastonbury Festival, Primavera Sound, Last Tour, San Sebastian Jazz Festival, Le Rocher de Palmer, Budapest Music Center, Athens Music Week, Festival Jodhpur RIFF – Jodhpur (India), among many others. Several collaborations have been established with associations such as Plataforma Jazz España, Why Portugal/ AMAEI, MMF (Music Managers Forum of the Czech Republic) and SoundCzech, with the aim of relating to the Balearic industry and promoting exchange .
